Adna Muslija

Adna Muslija (b. 1996, Sarajevo) is a Bosnian visual artist and curator whose practice develops around participatory, interdisciplinary, and experimental forms of cultural engagement. She is co-founder of the Gallery of Contemporary Arts Manifesto in Sarajevo, where she has served as curator since 2021, and has been a key curatorial force behind the FASADA Street Art Festival.
Holding a BA and MA in Art Education (Painting) from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, as well as an MA in Art History and Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, Adna brings a rigorously research-led approach to her curatorial work. Her studies included an Erasmus exchange at the Faculdade de Belas Artes in Porto, Portugal, and she has been recognised with the Golden Badge by the University of Sarajevo twice as one of its most outstanding students.
Alongside her curatorial practice, Adna works as a Visual Arts, History of Art and Graphic Design teacher at Gymnasium SSST, and has previously held roles as an art programme coordinator at Brodac Contemporary Art Gallery and as an art journalist and video content creator at BHRT, the Radio and Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her critical writing has appeared in several publications, and she has curated and participated in numerous exhibitions across Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.
